I’ve been living with cats and small dogs (dachshunds) for about 7 years. For pet sitting, I have the most experience with medium-large dogs i.e. Great Dane, Bull Mastiff, for my friends. I have a pit bull mix at home. I’m happy to take long walks or multiple short excursions depending on the space and your dog’s mobility. I also absolutely love cats, even the moody ones. I have two silly house cats and also care for two neighborhood/community cats. I have experience with senior dogs, rescues, and kittens. I work full time M-F but can often complete tasks remotely and work from home. Also, if you are close my office, I can easily visit during the day. My weekends are pretty open. For my pets, I try to keep a good routine for meal times, walk times, play time, monthly flea/tick prevention, frequent litter box cleanings, and all the love and attention the animal likes. My female cat only wants affection on her terms. My male cat will fall asleep in my arms. I try to match the friendliness level of the animal so they feel comfortable. I always make sure my pit bull and I are secure and ready to go before our long walks. Harness, leash, poop bag, phone, keys, water. When caring for other people’s pets in their home I like to know the typical routine and what the rules are in the house i.e. sitting on furniture, where play time can happen, feeding instructions.
