I have been surrounded by animals my entire life. I have always had a dog by my side and a few other farm animals has given me many fun times and experiences. I took classes with Animal Behavior College and only stopped because of extrenuating circumstances while my husband was stationed overseas. I was a wildlife and fisheries major in college at Texas A&M and feel that some of that knowledge is pertinent to animal care and handling. Throughout all of that, my dachshund, Emma, has been by my side. She is 13yrs old now and has been my faithful companion her whole life. She still acts like a puppy sometimes and is very easy going. We also have a boxer, named Gaia, and she is the gentlest thing, she has even been known to snuggle kittens only a fraction her size. Also, we have a pitbull mix named Krystal, who is a semi-inside dog. She has her own play area and dog house outside and is allowed inside from time to time, especially during bad weather. All of our dogs are spayed, just as Bob Barker always says to do. Lastly, we have 3 cats, a rat, a horse, a donkey and some turtles. It sounds like a lot but we are on 4 acres with 3 people putting in the love and affection to all of them. So, if you're looking for your pets to have a fun, farm experience under a careful eye, that's me and my family here. I have a full time job Mon-Fri and am away from 7am-6pm, however, my husband or my father would be home to care for your pet and they would definitely not be alone for more than 2 hours at a time. I will always tell you my whole households availability to see if you are okay with any times they may be alone through the day. Weekends I am totally free and they will not be alone at all. I will always abide by your rules and will tell you if there is ever anything I can't accommodate for so that you can make a decision from there. I look forward to meeting your companion(s)!
