Absolutely crazy about dogs!
Pet care experience
Nobody is more hands on than I am, when it comes to dogs! I really love all breeds, and want to run my own sanctuary after I finish my education. I've been a dog owner my entire life. I've had experience with small breeds (Chihuahua, Mini Pinscher), medium breeds (Australian Shepherds), and large breeds (Doberman, Saint Bernard). I currently have an 8 year old Golden Retriever/Staffordshire Terrier mix. We're fairly active; before moving to Binghamton we lived in the Catskills and took our dog hiking often.
Reviews
Alexis takes very good care of any and all animals. She treats her own dog like it was a child with the way she cares for it, and I know she would extend that to anyone else's pets as well.

I prefer to use a harness with any larger/high energy dog I care for, for better control and safety. I don't take dogs out off-leash. My fiance who lives with me can also come along on any meet and greets, so owners can see who will be around their pup daily.

A typical day
I live in Little Italy, so I love taking my pup down to GFJ Park to enjoy the fresh air when the weather is nice.

Availability
I'm a full-time student currently, and hoping to work with and walk dogs as a part-time business. My weekends especially are flexible. Hanging out with other pups all day sounds like the absolute dream job for me!
