Pet care experience
I have an over abundant background in pet care. I can't remember a time that I didn't have a pet. My first pet was a little chihuahua. Since then I have had several more dogs, hamsters, rabbits, birds, cats, horses, goats, cows, chickens, pigs and a gecko. I grew up on a farm, so I have experience with old animals, newborns, perfectly healthy, special needs, administering medications etc. I look forward to hearing from you and caring for your fur baby(ies)! I will be starting a new job as of next week and will update my availability as soon as I learn my schedule. I will be working days and my husband works nights so he will be home during the day when I am not. I live in an apartment with my cat Henri, and husband-Jesse. There is a dog park near our apartment and there are other parks nearby within driving distance if your animal is okay around others. Just let me know your preferences!

Alexis was very communicative and happy to have my pup. She provided great care and sent adorable photos during his visit.
Alexis was unprofessional and lacked the ability to solve problems by herself on my dogs short stay with her. My dog started eating her cats food and she had no resolution for this. I warned her that she would need to move it when I dropped by dog off, and she said she would. She continued to complain while I was out of town(only a weekend)—when there is nothing I could do to help. Saying she could not seperate them or move the food due to allergies to her cat and that it’s not sanitary for her cat to be in the other room or on a counter. Now, my dog has been vomiting and sick to her stomach. You are paid to keep a dog safe and if you cannot do that you should not care for animals in your home.
Our shy dog, Mizu, stayed with Alexis for a few days. Alexis was very communicative and sent plenty of updates. She also made the drop off/pick up process super easy to coordinate. Overall, we would be happy to have Alexis watch Mizu again in the future!
Alexis was compassionate, very responsive and took great care of our dog. What else could you ask for?

Also let me know if your animal does not get along with other animals as we have a cat and I want to ensure everyone's safety.

I am new to our area but we do have a dog park nearby I can take pups to run and play. Otherwise we can play with any of their favorite toys they bring throughout the day
