Pet care experience
I am an all-around dog lover whose had the pleasure to care for my own beagle mix for 12 years. After my family decided it was best for her to spend her remaining years in an older dog home, I went on to work at a doggy daycare in Princeton for 2 years. Working in the daycare enabled me to understand how to handle multiple dogs (big and small) at the same time, while also being able to tend to their individual needs. I just moved into a new house with a huge patio/grass space that will surely suit the needs of any energetic pup. With school out of the way and summer just beginning, I would love some furry friends to keep me company!

In the past, several of my dog-walkers did the bare minimum when walking my dog and would just walk her down the street. Alexis has shown me what a proper dog walker should be and she greets my dog with high energy and gets her to walk in the rain (which my dog is usually quite hesitant to do). Alexis takes my dog for long walks regardless of the weather. I used to go through dog walkers very quickly because I tend to be picky, but I will definitely be sticking with Alexis for a long time.
Anyone who knows me, knows that my dogs are definitely not the friendliest. My dogs mean everything to me, but it has been hard for me to keep dog walkers around because of this. With my busy schedule, it's hard for me to fit in time to walk my dogs. To my surprise, among meeting Alexis, my dogs warmed right up to her, which rarely happens. Alexis is always on time (which is important, because my dogs are very persistent when they know it's time for their walk), and is so good with my pups. She never disappoints.
My four dogs ARE my family. What I appreciate most about Alexis is not just her obvious love for animals ( My pups fell for her instantaneously) but her professionalism. Pet sitting is not something on the side for Alexis- it's something that she loves and it is clearly evident in her personality. She is extremely good at it, so good, in fact, that on my last 14-day trip, the dogs didn't even guilt trip me when I get home! I will recommend Alexis for anyone looking for someone to watch their sweet pets. Also, she is incredibly affordable and she will definitely give you a peace of mind!
My dog sandy loved Alexis! She took her on nice long walks and always fed her on time. She such a sweet and caring person!
