My name is Alexis. I am 28 years old and I stay in the San Leandro area. I have had 20+ years of experience with taking care of dogs. On top of my own companions, I have house sitted for family, family friends, and friends. Not to worry if you have more than one fur baby, I’ve taken care of multiple dogs at once so the more the merrier! I am flexible and patient so I can attend to any special requests or needs. I will take care of your loved ones and treat them like they are one of my own. Updates, if wanted, will be given every visit and walk along with a picture. This was my first time ever leaving my cat, and I warned Alexis that I was going to be nervous about it. She was fantastic! She responded to my MANY "how is she doing" texts (sorry, Alexis) with updates on her antics and cute photos and even videos. She took out my trash, checked my mail, and gave Butterscotch so much love and attention. Butterscotch hides from everyone, and while she did hide from Alexis for the first day or so, it didn't take long at all for her to come out of her shell. She played, snuggled, and attacked poor Alexis's feet. (Alexis, I'll have a supply of thick socks for next time!) When Alexis left the apartment, she let me know and gave me updates when she returned. Because of Alexis, I was able to have a wonderful trip and Butterscotch is a happy, confident kitty. Thank you!

This is my first time using Rover and it was amazing. We had a family emergency and had to find someone to take care of them while we were gone. Alexis was wonderful, she sent daily pictures and videos. She fed them on time and I didn’t have to worry about them not getting attention that they deserves. Will definitely book with her again.

I want your fur baby to feel as comfortable as possible while you are gone. I would do everything in my power to stick to their every day schedule so it’s like you never left. We would discuss feeding schedules, walk schedules if requested, wake up time and bedtime, etc.

no breed preference, I love all dogs. I would like to know the dog's daily schedule, all details are important, I want your loved one to feel like it's just another day. Also, if they need any pills, where their things are located, and if I should look out for any behaviors like jumping on the furniture or if they chew shoes left out.
A typical day
I adjust the activities we do based on needs or requests. If your dog needs a walk everyday then that can be arranged. Also, if you have other animals that need to be taken care of like a fish/Guinea pig or plants that need to be watered, it will be taken care of upon request.

Availability
I now work 10 hour days (Monday-Thursday) in office. Due to this change I am unable to provide attentive care on workdays and have changed my availability to Thursday (night) through Monday (morning). I will continue to keep my clients informed of when I arrive to your home, leave, and when I will be back the next day (unless told this is not necessary).
