I love big dogs, so I am not afraid of a large task and welcome any breeds. Back home in D.C., I have 3 Golden Retrievers (3 mo, 6 yr, 9 yr), a Siberian Husky (4 yr), and a Maine Coon cat (10 yr). I love doing all sorts of activities with animals! I particularly love taking dogs on hikes, especially on the Ragged Mountain Nature Area trail, which offers a 7-mile loop around a beautiful lake. I also enjoy playing fetch with dogs, taking them for safe car rides (if allowed), and just about anything else you have in mind. I am very active and I believe that an exercised dog is a happy, well-behaved one! I love training dogs and working on any behaviors/skills that you think need improvement, such as potty training and socialization with humans and other animals. If you are interested in dog-sitting, I am happy to stay at your home while you are out of town and help out with any additional tasks you have at home, ensuring that I leave your home better than I found it so you come back to a tidy house after your time away.
