Pet care experience
A little about me: I am currently a computational biology PhD student at PSU working remotely. My family has had dogs my entire life and I am a huge dog lover. I had a wide variety of sizes of dogs from small all the way to extra large. My grandma is still surprised to this day that I didn't choose veterinary school lol. My cover photo is a picture I took of the husky labrador mix I spend 9 months full time sitting for a professor. Me and my dogs love hiking on the weekends and we will definitely bring your pup along (given that they would enjoy that activity)!

Alexis took great care of our beagle while we were away for a long weekend. We got pictures and videos that kept us at ease and he had a great time!! Alexis was flexible with drop off and pickup and was super easy to communicate and work with! I highly recommend and will be using her again.
Alexis did a great job with our chihuahua, and he really liked her dog Annie too. She was able to cope with his separation anxiety, and when I picked him up he acted like he had been at a friend's house rather than a dogsitter. Highly recommend and I will definitely be back.
Alexis was wonderful to work with and our pups loved staying with her. She keeps us updated on how our pups were doing while we were away with photos and videos. We really appreciated working with her!

It is important for me to know the general demeanor of your dog ahead of time, especially things that give them anxiety. I want your pup to be as comfortable as possible in my home. I can work with dogs with separation anxiety as I have struggled with that with my smaller dog.
A typical day
Your pup will be welcome to play with my dogs all day or just lounge around. My one dog loves playing Frisbee and fetch which is definitely a possibility for your dog as well!

Availability
I am currently working from home so I am available all day to take care of your pup! I already take my dogs on morning and evening walks and your pup will come along. I live with my best friend who also loves dogs.
