New to Durango and looking for a fun way to fill gaps my sometimes sporadic schedule. I have always been a pet lover and owner, and I'm hoping to bring my passion and expertise to my new town! In addition to caring for my own animals, I have professional experience with pet walking/sitting companies, and I have a reputation for reliability and responsibility. While living in Denver, I professionally walked/sitted pets, and I loved it! I haven't found a better position than playing with and caring for fur babies. Working for Out-U-Go!, I held down the team's most demanding route, visiting up to 13 unique (and sometimes difficult) pets a day. Additionally, I took a course in animal behavior for the company, during which I was trained in approaching and caring for dogs and cats... and the occasional reptile. Outside of Out-U-Go!, I have sitted my friends' and families' pets for years. This includes animals of all types; older pets with special needs, young pets with a lot of energy, cats that just need some love and time to relax, etc. Whatever you're looking for in a sitter, I can confidently provide.
