Pet care experience
Dogs have been a part of my family since I was a child. I love caring for and spending time with them. I am also an Event volunteer at the organization I adopted Kahlua, where I help dogs find homes. Kahlua is a very friendly pup who loves having furry friends stay over! I work from home which allows me to be with my dog and YOURS full time! I have been pet sitting for a few years now and decided to come on Rover to become official! Kahlua and I are very active and love to be outdoors. Although I don't have a fenced in yard, I have a gated deck and live next to a big park. Kahlua and I are known for walking across all parts of town with our furry friends. We like to switch up are walks, go on hikes, go to the dog park, walk around the Wakefield lake, head to the beach, and play catch in the different parks around town. I will take care of your precious baby as he/she was my own! And I will send you status and picture updates of your dogs and all the fun we are having while you are away. Raw feeders welcome! Alexis was used for a weekend daycare visit because I wanted my dog to be social since he had been cooped up a bunch the week prior and our regular sitter was busy. She was amazing with our dog , braving some of the chilliest temperatures of the year to not only take him out to the local park once but twice. We met a few days earlier for a meet-n-greet at the same park and then headed to her house, so her dog wasn't as territorial which was a really smart thing to do. It seemed like they would get along well so we set up the daycare a few days into the future. I was a little early dropping him off which she had no issues with. Definitely recommend for other Rover clients and we would use her again, if needed. My dog was completely exhausted when he got home and probably didn't move for at least three hours, that's all the success I needed to see that it was a great visit!
My doggie stayed with Alexis and her pup, Kaluha, for the day and our experience was awesone! You can easily tell she is an animal lover and my dog took to her right away. She gives the dogs frequent walks and lots of play time. My pup came home very happy! Would def recommend Alexis!
Alexis was great with Lola and Louis. I have an English and French bulldog both with special needs. Alexis took great care of them and they loved kalua. She also checked in often with me took pictures and spent lots of 1:1 time with them. They can't wait for the next visit! Thank you Alexis.
Cede goes to doggie daycare with Alexis and Kahlua and enjoys her time. Alexis seemed very cautious with the dogs in her care and makes her home a very comfortable place for her furry friends. Alexis is excellent to communicate with and sends great photos throughout the day.
