Pet care experience
Hello! My name is Alexis. Growing up, I helped my mom take care of our six dogs. With that being said, I am comfortable around most dog breeds (sorry, no pitbulls!) and know basic dog handling techniques. I feel dogs communicate with humans with their eyes, sounds, and body language--they have needs and feelings just like us. As such, I treat all dogs with respect and always aim to make them feel loved as much as possible using a soothing voice and approachable body language. I hope to meet your furry friend soon!

Alexis did a great job with watching our house and dogs while we were gone for 9 days. She communicated well with us and sent pictures of the dogs every day. She also was prompt with her timing and let us know if anything was going to change really appreciated the clear communication! We appreciated having her and will for sure have her watch them again for us!

A typical day
We will go on walks in a variety of environments such as parks, hiking trails, and neighborhoods. I am open to going wherever your furry friend prefers! Other potential activities include, but not limited to: playing fetch and learning new tricks.

Availability
In addition to pet care, I also work a hybrid full-time job—I work at the office every Monday and Wednesday, every other Tuesday, and work from home every Thursday and Friday. If I work in-office, I can take the dogs out for a potty break before I leave, when I return from work and before bed time (3x per day). I will spend the night and spend time with pets as much as I can when I’m not working my other job. Thank you.
