Hi! my name is alexis and i’m 23 years old. I am a senior at UNCC and currently taking one class on campus for this semester that is on monday and wednesday, and in the summer I will take three more online and be graduated!! I have three cats of my own in my home with me now, and my mom has my dog (german shepherd) at her house. I’ve been caring for pets since i was born and never went a day without an animal in my house. I am able to connect really well with animals, and will have lots of time during the day to walk or drop in on your pets. I prefer to do my school work in the presence of a fur companion! I have experience with other pets outside of dogs and cats as well. I’ve had birds, fish, and many different types of lizards. I have experience administering medication to dogs as well as elderly dog care and special needs dogs! I’d love to work with you on prices if needed and i am more than happy to schedule meet and greets before bookings! I love play time and snuggle time, and i am more than willing to make room on the bed to sleep with the dogs! I recently moved from an apartment to a home, so I am excited for the opportunity to host doggy day cares, as well as boarding! My cats have no issues with dogs, my youngest girl is just terrified of them so she will be hiding the majority of the time your pup is here!🤣 However my oldest cat Carson absolutely adores dogs, and is very happy to play with them. I’m so excited to work with you and your family, and can’t wait to meet your pups!!

Lexi did a fantastic job with a 10-day sit for my kitties. She was very responsive, sent lots of pics and videos, and I could tell that my kitties loved her - even my girl cat who's a little shy. I will definitely use her again!
Alexis was awesome and took great care of my dogs and cats while we were away over the holidays! She always kept me updated on how they were doing and sent lots of cute pictures! I could tell my animals were enjoying her stay and weren’t stressed we were gone. I hope to use her again soon!

Your pets will always feel loved and wanted when i am around.I always use the “baby talk” with pets, it’s a habit! Sitting with them and spending time with them is a super important part of what i do. cuddle time is also super important, and i can’t get enough of it! i also love to sleep with the dogs and cats and am more than willing to make room on the bed for them! I spend most of the day in your home if i am overnight sitting, especially with nervous or anxious animals. Your pet would never be alone for more than 2 hours, max. My home is one story, and has hardwood floors so messes aren’t hard to clean! i have a large, 0.4 acre backyard that is fenced in, so plenty of space for the pups to run around outside!

Let me know if your dogs has special needs care and i am more than willing to learn their routine to help them with any medications or injections. Id need a crash course but i’m a fast learner! i have experience giving medication to dogs and caring for senior dogs. Just let me know if there are any concerning allergies, conditions, behavior, etc. Also, please let me know if they require any special treatment, attention, or love!!
A typical day
Like I mentioned before, my backyard is 0.4 acres, and I have no dog of my own right now to utilize it! playtime is always on- fetch, throwing balls, frisbees, anything, so make sure you send your pups favorite toy over with them! I also live in a neighborhood, so there are plenty of safe, neighborhood roads and sidewalks to take a walk. Treats are always a must have with me- i love to spoil! A lot of time I’m doing homework so i always would like to do it next to animals so i have an excuse to take breaks and love on them! Just hanging out with the animals is what i love to do. I know mine at home always needs attention!

Availability
My days include either doing school work at home, or being on campus for one class on monday, and on wednesdays. I will also occasionally do doordash part-time, but not usually when I am taking care of pets. I am doing homework most of the day so i prefer being around pets while i’m doing it! I am available any day of the week, weekend, and most holidays.
