Pet care experience
I love animals, I also foster them and work to train them to get them ready for adoption. I also used to work at a vet and am comfortable with nail trimming, giving pills, etc. I grew up around dogs and have spend the last 10 years pet sitting on Rover and for friends. I love going for runs with dogs and am always happy to bring them to the dog park or play with them. If it's something you're interested in, I can also work on training or reinforce whatever behaviors you have been trying to teach. I had a small, fragile old dog who took lots of pills so am definitely able to accommodate any health needs. I have a house with a fenced in yard for the pups to play in.

I have a fenced in yard for potty breaks and generally spend a lot of time out there hanging out if it’s not too hot out. I generally keep the owners routine with the dog (if they normally sleep in a crate, I’ll have them sleep in a crate, if not, then they’ll sleep in the bedroom with me, etc). Overall, I base my care on what the pet wants to do and do everything I can to increase their comfort level and happiness. I love every dog I meet and I'm so happy to share that love.

I would love to know what types of things your dogs likes, what their personality is like, and how they like to play. I usually want to know what your daily routine with them is and if you have any specific commands or routines I can mimic so they feel more comfortable. Because I have dogs and like to go for walks, I prefer to know how they interact with new dogs and new people that we might pass on the sidewalk.
A typical day
I love to play and go for lots of walks with the dogs. Depending on their energy level, I love to go running/walking around the neighborhood and nearby trails. I also love to go to the dog park if that’s something the owner is okay with. Otherwise we chill and cuddle around my house. I have two dogs that love other dogs and I’ve trained them to be very respectful of different dogs playing styles and preferences. If a dog doesn't want to play with my dog, he knows to stay away and be respectful of the other's space. I also gradually introduce new dogs to the house so they first get comfortable with me and the space, and then introduce them to my dogs when they're no longer nervous. So far, it's been a super successful method and all of the dogs have a lot of fun.

Availability
I am currently a medical student and have a fluctuating schedule at the hospital during the week. My husband works from home however and will always be home with the pups if I’m not. During weekdays, I can easily stop by early for drop-ins or any time in the evenings, and then anytime you need on weekends.
