Pet care experience
Trustworthy and pup loving medical graduate student residing in NW houston while I complete my clinical rotations! Ive had 6 dogs in my life and have cared for hundreds of sweet pups through shelter care, family & friends, and of course, rover! I would love to hang out with your dogs while you’re away and need some extra help. The outdoors hold a special place for me as I have played competitive (and collegiate) soccer my whole life up until two years ago, so you’ll be content in knowing that your pup will get the outdoor exercise they need and love. Rover is actually not my first experience with pet setting, as I have experience of house/pet sitting for family and friends when they leave town. I have no doubt that your fur baby and I will create a bond in no time.
Reviews
Alexis was a huge help when I had to leave for a weekend. She constantly kept me updated throughout with pictures so I’d have some peace of mind during my trip and she took my pup on plenty of walks. My dog Ivy was actually wining when we were leaving because she wanted to keep hanging out with her! Overall a great experience and would highly recommend.
Alexis is an awesome and trustworthy pet-sitter. She cared for my 5-year-old french bulldog, Hank, on a number of occasions. The last time I went to pick him up from her place, he didn't want to leave! Alexis is an excellent communicator - always sending me pictures of Hank and informing me of any concerns she may have while caring for him. I'm lucky to have found Alexis, as she is loyal to my best friend whenever he needs a warm place to stay when I need to travel for work or play.

Safety, trust & environment
Whatever the owner requests as far as exercise, feeding, play time, whatever- no issues with me. The only thing I wouldn’t be comfortable with is having your pet in my car, unless you had a protective cover for my seats. Anything else is expected and will be taken care of according to your instruction!

Information Alexis H. would like to know about your pet
What medication do they take if any and how much/often? What is the specific verbiage / command words do they respond to and for what desired action? Do I need to make them “sit and stay” while filling up their dog bowls for meals or do they get to eat as soon as the food hits the bowl? How do they act around other dogs, for example if i took them on a walk would I be able to contain their excitement around other dogs or is it not safe for me to take them on walks due to the possibility of run ins with other dogs?
A typical day
In the owners yard, dog parks, walks, large fields of grass, white rock lake trails, you name it. Anywhere you take your dog is where I will take them too.

Totally flexible as I make my own schedule. I’ve invested so much in my education and throughout my time of coursework I was working part time jobs, babysitting, and dog sitting to help support my basic needs. I would be very grateful to take care of your fur babies and you can trust that they are having the most care and love from me while you are away. I am more than happy to do meet ups beforehand, just let me know!
