Pet care experience
I already have a dog of my own, a husky named Storm. He's the sweetest dog and is extremely NON-aggressive. He even loves my cat. Training a dog with so much energy has been work but he and I have come a long way. I make sure he gets enough exercise every day! I've had pets since I was a baby and was responsible for my Bichon and German shepherd in middle and high school. I was also raised with cats, chickens, and hamsters, so I have experience with most home and outdoor pets! I do have a part-time job, but since my dog needs plenty of walks and attention I do stop home in the middle of the day. I'll make sure your fur baby gets plenty of TLC and attention!

Alexis was a great dog sitter for our lab! She gave her plenty of exercise during her 4 day stay and lots of playtime with her dog, Storm. We are thankful Alexis was very accommodating to our late night pick up time due to delayed flights. We would definitely book her again if we needed a sitter in the area.
This was my first time using Rover and I was a little skeptical leaving my dog in a strangers care, but Alexis was the absolute sweetest person and instantly made me feel comfortable leaving my pup in her care. Her responses back to my many texts asking about my puppy were immediate along with pictures. I would definitely trust her with him again and again.
Alexis has watched my dog on numerous occasions and I have always been happy with her attentiveness to my dog. She always sends me picture and text updates and provides plenty of exercise for my pup. She's very flexible with pick ups/drop offs and is always quick to respond! I never hesitate to book Alexis as my pet sitter when I'm heading out of town!

A typical day
During healthy seasons I like to take my dog the Smithland Dog Park. I have an annual pass to the Shenandoah National Park so I also take him on trails there! I'm also willing to take your dog on my morning runs with me if they need the extra exercise!
