Pet care experience
I have worked with animals from a very young age volunteering in animal shelters. I currently have owned my own dog training and pet care business for the past 9 years where I have worked with various breeds and types of dogs, all sizes and temperaments, so your pet will receive attention and care 24/7 as this is my full time job! I have taken courses in medical for animal safety and can safely administer medications and care for special needs animals. I have no issue working with reactive/aggressive dogs, that is my specialty in my training business! I train and compete in a multitude of canine sports so I have an array of skills gained from working with top trainers in California as well as top trainers throughout the world by attending seminars.

It was the first time we used the Rover app as well as picking out Alexis for our fur baby. It seemed easy enough to use. This app shows up with owners name but the location is under something called super dog company name. We are limited on what we can book with this app and when we checked on our pup we were given a message that we could upgrade our package for an update on our dog. The conversation on-site was there would be at least one update a day. Mind you that there’s no place to see or purchase whatever upgrades that she said were available, so not really helpful for our first use of rover or being helpful to guide us through whatever she was talking about. We were told that 4 pm was too late to pick up our pup we would have to book another night. The pick up hours were between 930-1130am and we showed up at 10ish. Owner was surprised by us being there Sunday morning and said she thought we were coming at 4 PM after she made us add another day because she said 4pm was too late. If you are looking for something warm and caring this is probably not for you or your babies. If you just need a place to stash your dog in a kennel then here you are.
Alexis is great and she has done a great job with the facility, but to be clear: this is a boarding kennel in a parking lot. Our hound was very comfortable and seemed happy. Check out the photos and description carefully -- I'm used to booking homes on Rover, so I was surprised to find a boarding facility when I arrived. Just be aware of what you're booking. It's going to be a better price to book well in advance with her business directly and pay for walks as an add-on. We were happy with it as last-minute booking for a holiday weekend, but it wasn't what we're used to.
Alexis took good care of our dog, Tae! She’s super friendly and replies fast. I’d recommend her.
Alexis is amazing. She was quick to respond, provided updates, is skilled, and has a great facility. My dog enjoyed his stay and will be back soon!

Boarding: We have separate areas and kennel runs (kennel runs are averagely indoor/outdoor so your pups can be inside as they want or go outside to potty as needed) that are secured with tops and bottoms and fenced in yards for multiple dogs. Averagely each household gets their own space and yard time. When we do play groups together it’s after the dog has been here and decompressed and we perform an assessment to ensure the dogs are a match for the appropriate play groups pending which other dogs are here. If dogs can not go in a group there are plenty of parallel fenced yards for your pup to enjoy their own space and time! Every pup (or household group) sleeps separate to ensure they get plenty of much needed rest! I am a full functioning private pet care and training building and live on site, caring for pups like they’re my own! Drop-Ins: Averagely we let your pup out to potty, give them fresh water, clean up any minor accidents they may have had, and give them some fun engaging playtime! I require copies of Rabies vaccine and recommend sending copies of DHPP and bordatella.

Please inform me if your dog has any specific likes/dislikes, special needs/limitations and their average behaviour. I work with all types of dogs including aggression but for dogs with aggression please notify so we can make proper arrangements. If a female is in heat there is a sanitization charge for additional cleanup as we wipe up after them multiple extra times per day. Dogs that are excessively aggressive and unhandable will be additionally charged for required use of our police k9 kennels.
A typical day
I'll find what your pet enjoys the most and we can focus on that! All friendly dogs get to have some morning yard time while we get some cleaning done then breakfast. During the day dogs rotate between playtime, naps and hanging out! Bedtime we love to spoil our pups with a “Nighttime Scooby Snack” just as we tuck-in!

Availability
Dog training is currently my full time occupation, so your pet will be cared for 24/7! I do live at and care for pets at my training building where my home is located and I live on site of course. I create my schedule as I get appointments, most often between 8am-6pm but we can accommodate outside that for certain situations. Weekends my hours are more selective for pick up and drop off depending on the day due to classes but we are always available in the AM 8-11am.
