Pet care experience
Hello! I grew up watching Animal Planet™️ religiously with my dad. I think this is what created my passion and love for all animals. I have adopted and fostered dogs, cats, birds, lizards, you name it. I volunteer at a humane society and am currently working towards earning my degree in Biology and Environmental Science. I plan to use them towards a career in animal conservation. I am able to provide a safe and loving environment for your best friend. I’ve been taught how to properly care for all types of animals, including their ideal living space, food requirements, activity levels, and preferred handling methods. I am in love with all animals and am looking forward to my career spent caring for them. PS - I have an extra large pup at home if you yourself have a big guy/girl (regarding walks).

Alexis was available when I needed her on last minute terms. She made my dog feel at home and treated him just like hers. She sends updates and pictures and is very good about staying in contact. I am so glad I decided to use rover and found her I honestly wouldn’t have had it any other way. Definitely was the first but it won’t be the last.
Alexis was the best, our big 80lbs "puppy" was always excited to be dropped off and I loved the fact that Alexis sent us pictures and updates throughout the day. So sad we moved because she was the absolute best dog sitter. I would 100% recommend her to anyone, she truly loves and cares for your pet like its her own.

Alexia was the best choice hands down for taking care and boarding my dog in her home! As a last minute resort, she replied very quickly to my request. Her sweet dogs also gave my dog great company. I received updates and pictures everyday I was gone. And she even took care of my dog for extra time while I was late on my return home! Highly recommend and will be returning to book!

A typical day
If you’re comfortable with it, nearby dog parks are wonderful environments for outgoing dogs. I also love going for walks/runs on nature trails and dog friendly beaches. The at home activities will include whatever your pet prefers, whether tug-of-war or cuddling on the couch. We will not take walks/runs near busy streets.
