I am a pet-mom myself, and I will treat your pet the way I would want someone to care for my kitty. I was raised in NJ around a chocolate lab and a cocker spaniel mix; in third grade, I was lucky enough to get a dog of my own, a Shetland Sheepdog. As an only child, my pets were my playmates and best friends. After college, I moved into an apartment that allowed cats-only. Last year, I adopted my baby, a Siberian Forest Cat named Nimbus. I know how much I worry about my cat when I have to work long hours or go away on vacation. I know that no one will love and care about my pet like I do; but as your pet sitter or walker, I can promise that I will treat your pet with the same patience, love, and attention that I would hope someone would give to my baby while I am away. I am currently in Grad school, so I have a very flexible schedule and a lot of availability for drop in visits and dog walks in Manhattan

Alexis was incredible! It was our first time leaving Midnight and she made us feel super comfortable by providing updates and sending pictures and videos of him, in addition to the basics (e.g., litter, food). Our cat is really shy around strangers, but Alexis was patient and calm around him, so he warmed up to her quickly! She really went above and beyond. Would definitely recommend! ?
Alexis has come a number of times to check in on my two cats and she is excellent. She's very communicative, kind, and always helpful. Highly recommend her for your pet
I could not be more thankful for Alexis!! I was so nervous leaving our very full house of pets - 4 cats, 3 rats, and fish, and felt so relieved to have found such a sweet and thoughtful sitter! Alexis sent great photos and updates every day, and even gave daily medicine to one of my rats with no problem. I am definitely a very anxious pet parents and Alexis made me feel so at ease while we were away. Thank you!!! <3

I do not have any breed preferences. I have owned cocker spaniels, a Shetland sheepdog, and a chocolate lab, but all pets are awesome! As a pet-parent, we usually know best what someone else should know about our pet. I would like to know anything that you feel is important to ensure that I give your pet the best possible care while you're away. I would like to know how your dog tends to react with other pets and with children, since we might encounter them during a walk. Any tips or tricks you can tell me about your pet are appreciated, and will result in a better experience for all :)
A typical day
I live blocks from Central Park, and am very familiar with walking those paths. I enjoy outdoor exercise, so I am happy to jog with your pet if he/she needs additional exercise. I also have a fenced-in, private backyard since I live on the 1st floor. If you would prefer for your pet to play off-leash in a completely fenced-in, safe backyard on the Upper East Side, Manhattan, I am happy to bring your pet to my apartment. I am easy to talk to and very willing to accommodate your requests, so please feel free to communicate your pet's needs.
