Expert Dog Walker with Fenced Yard!
Pet care experience
My husband and I have recently moved to the area, and as such, I have decided to take my dog sitting/walking business to Rover. I have over 10 years of experiencing caring for dogs of all shapes, sizes, and personalities! I am a reliable and loving pet owner of two well-trained dogs myself: Hunter (Minigoldendoodle) and Emmy (Bernedoodle), and they get along with all dogs! I am happy to meet you and your furry one before booking at any point to discuss details. Pictures and videos will be regularly provided! We live on approximately 1 acre of land with a large fenced in lawn for puppy play time! We I know all the best spots for walks as well. I have taken several classes on dog training and dog behavioralism which allows me to understand the needs of your dog, warning signals, and their interactions with others rather quickly. When entering into dog-walking with me, I personalize each service to fit the needs of you and your pet. I offer walks, ball throwing, hikes, more intensive exercise if requested, training, and lots of hugs. I am dog CPR/ First aid certified. Pet care is my main business so I have plenty of time to dedicate to your pups! I keep my schedule updated and do my best to be amenable to all needs. Trust and safety with you and your pets are most important to me. As mentioned, my home has a large fenced in yard where no dogs can escape if we want to play there! We walk in the most popular dog walking areas and I am comfortable walking dogs of all sizes. I I strived to take extreme care in creating a fun and safe environment for all pets.
Reviews
I cannot recommend Alexis enough, all around fantastic person and dog walker. She walks are guy 3 times a week, she does play groups in fenced in yards so the dogs get great interaction and she does regular walk. She picks them up in her car and there's never too many dogs at one time. Just Stellar!
Alexis is the BEST dog walker! Our two goldens adore her and always return happy and exercised. Highly recommend! She's very thoughtful and timely as well.
I am not one to leave reviews but this time I absolutely had too! Alexis was absolutely amazing! Let me first say I was extremely hesitant on leaving my baby with ANYONE “let alone a stranger”! Lucy is a 1 year old mini labradoodle and is very hyper and she gets anxious when we leave her just for an hour. Needless to say so do I. Alexis made me feel pretty comfortable when we had our phone conversation prior to me dropping lucy off. She asked all the right questions! Then when we dropped lucy off Alexis and her dogs very welcoming. Knowing how nervous I was Alexis made sure to send me updates along with pictures and videos five or six times a day. Thank you Alexis! To put the topping on this beautiful cake alleyways so attentive that when she was brushing lucy ( yes, brushing) she found a tick on my baby! And removed it! Sent me a message with photos assuring me she removed the tick and what I should do next. I can not say enough good things! Lucy went there for 4 nights and thanks to Alexis was able to enjoy my vacation. Great job Alexis!
Alexis is a great dog sitter! She watched our berkley and as a puppy a few times now. I was very nervous to leave her for a weekend getaway for the first time but she could not have made me feel more comfortable. Photos were sent, updates were provided, and when we came to pick berk up, she was obviously very well-cared for and happy! She's now using Rover and as someone who has had direct experience with her, I wanted to make sure I shared my recommendations!

Information Alexis C. would like to know about your pet
1) Important facts about your dogs, such as dislike towards specific breeds, on or off leash behavior, ball aggression, etc! All of this helps me ensure your dog is in the right hands.
A typical day
I put a lot of emphasis on exercising your dog physically and mentally! We go for long walks and ball throws in areas like Medfield's Hospital Campus, Adam's Farm, Blue Hills, state parks, and many more! We also play training games to try to instill good habits if/when needed! Importantly, different dogs have different play styles-no matter their size-and I always ensure I match dogs appropriately! Worth mentioning, if a dog tends to be more of a "human dog vs a dog's dog", I am accustom to ensuring your dog feels happy and comfortable as well.
