Pet care experience
I’ve grown up with pets in my family, have owned a cat and a dog in my past, and have even paired with an adoption agency to foster dogs they rescue. Friends and family also rely on me to care for their dogs while they are away, whether they come to my house or I visit theirs. I have loved animals my entire life and will love your fur baby friend just as they were my own. I love making new friends and can't wait to care for your pet. You will not regret choosing me! 🐾 **I know the below states I can have pets up to 40lbs, however the cutoff for my condo is 30lbs. Thank you in advance for understanding.

Alexis is such a great caregiver! To know that my dog is being taken care of by someone that is loving and responsible while I am away allows me to enjoy my time. She made sure she understood everything that he needed so his routine stayed the same and even washed him for me because I didn’t have time before we left on vacation. We truly trust her with our dog and our Rico loves her too!

Alexis cared for a young puppy as a foster parent. I was able to witness her care and concern for the puppy. She set a schedule for "potty breaks" and walks. She kept a clean environment and made sure that dangerous items were kept out of reach from the puppy. I think Alexis would be amazing as a pet sitter. She truly cares about all animals.
Alexis treated our little fur baby of 1 year like it was her own. He has a lot of energy and requires a lot of patient. She was able to make sure he got a lot of exercise walking him multiple times a day. 100% recommended!!

I do welcome puppies into my home at any age, as long as they are somewhat housebroken. (We can use the potty every two hours or so.) Working from home four days a week allows me to play throughout the day, look after your fur baby and help potty train if needed, as I just fostered a pup who needed to work on this as well. If they need practice to strengthen their crate or alone time, but not a full day, I can assist. (I currently have a crate however this may change and one will need to be provided when they stay with me.) If you’re looking for a visit in your home, I’m happy to feed your pet, maybe go for a nice walk and/or have play time.

I love to stimulate dogs physically and mentally. Whether that’s playing with a toy, playing in your yard, going for a stroll, or working on their manners. (Or as some call them, commands or tricks).

Availability
I work from home during the week (except Wednesdays) so I am available to play and take potty breaks throughout the day when your fur baby comes to hang out. *please note SOME Day Care services Thursday-Friday will need pickup arranged by 4pm, this just depends on the week If you need someone to stop by in the evening, I am usually free after 5pm most weekdays. Weekends do vary, so just reach out and inquire as I work occasional Saturdays. 🙂
