Pet care experience
I am a current veterinary medicine student and emergency veterinary nurse. I have completed a degree in Bachelor's of Science for Animal Science at University of California, Davis. I've been pet sitting for 7 years as well as doing shelter work, private practice clinics, and caring for my own animals. As a former division 1 athlete at UC Davis from the gymnastics team, I love to run and stay active with the dogs that need more stimulation. The great part about having a medically trained veterinary nurse is that I can administer medications, and care for geriatric animals. I care for every animal the same as my own, with love and compassion. I am equipped to care for animals of varying behaviors, ages and ailments with my background in the field and seek to build my skills further. My passion for animals and providing for their people makes me a wonderful choice to spend time with your pet. (Fully vaccinated against Covid-19 via Moderna)

Alexis was a brilliant dog sitter who far exceeded my expectations! I couldn't have asked for a more professional, responsible, warm and friendly person to take care of four month old Indie. I had never been away from my puppy before and Alexis made me feel completely at ease. I was quite impressed that she is a student of veterinary medicine and when I met her I could also see that she is a warm, caring person with a lovely personality. What a superstar! Thank you Alexis.
Alexis came last minute to sit for my Chow Chow over a bank holiday weekend. She was very personable and great with Kenji. She kept me updated throughout, would highly recommend.
Alexis was fabulous with our rescue dog who is scared of strangers. Alexis is very calm with a beautiful energy and am sure our Dafne felt very comfortable around her. Alexis kept us updated with photos and we came back to a very happy dog. We highly recommend Alexis and will certainly book her again!
