** PLEASE READ ** I am currently working full-time at The Maritime Aquarium Wednesday-Sunday from 8:30AM-4:30PM. I can do check-ins before and after my shift, otherwise I’m free after 5PM and I’m off Mondays and Tuesdays! ☺️ My rates are non-negotiable due to my experience and career in the animal care field.

I currently cannot provide care for pets at my home, but when I care for pets at their home I give them my undivided attention. I’m good at keeping pets on their routines (if they have them) and I do my best to make sure they are happy and relaxed even when their people aren’t home!

Please let me know if your pup has any behavioral concerns, routines, special harnesses for walks, medications, special quirks, etc. The more details the better! I strive for a smooth transition between owner and sitter for the pup to have some sense of normalcy to prevent stress.
A typical day
I will give them my undivided attention so that time away from their owner flys by quicker! I will play their favorite games with them, let them take their time exploring on walks, and give them all the belly rubs and loving they want/need! I also send updates/pictures to owners frequently to help ease any anxiety!

Hi there! My name is Alexis. I’ve grown up with dogs since my family usually had at least two in the house (typically bigger breeds including labs, a doberman, and a German Shepherd!) I’ve had experience walking dogs, pet sitting and house sitting since my family had our own little business back at my hometown - we even took care of a hobby farm! I’ve always loved working with animals, and I am currently a zookeeper/animal trainer. I have experience caring for both small and large breeds, administering daily medications, and I love all the puppy/kitty snuggles! I am responsible, hard-working and a good problem solver who will work with any breed!
