I’m a masters level mental health therapist, who has an animal assisted therapy certificate. I grew up with 3 dogs in my household, and formed a unique bond with each of them. I’m a regular volunteer at the Humane Society and I love all types of animals. In my free time I enjoy exploring Encinitas and am looking for more part-time work through dog sitting. I am an extremely active person and I have open availability week day evenings to walk dogs. I will always give your dog love and attention like it is my own!! I don’t have any breed preferences and am eager to get to know your unique pup. I am responsible, caring, and enthusiastic about meeting yours!!

This was Boomer’s 1st time with Alexis. She did a great job engaging and decreasing Boomer’s overall anxiety when he is left with a dog sitter. He let Alexis take him for a walk and he stayed close to her during visit. She definitely earned Boomer’s trust on the 1st visit. Great visit!
The walker had no show, but Alexis came to rescue my puppy last minute. She showed up as fast as she could to take my puppy out for a walk.
Alexis was wonderful with our dogs. I recommend her highly!
Alexis and Mitch did a fantastic job taking care of Speedy Peterson and Mikhail Glinka. They were both prompt, friendly, and trustworthy. We look forward to continuing with their dog sitting services again soon.

I try to work hard to give your dogs the same consistency that you give them - I try to do this so they build trust within me and feel safe while their owner is away.

I love bringing dogs on long walks in nearby neighborhoods & going to the park. That being said, I’m all about being flexible based on your dogs needs!

Availability
I’m available after 4:30 most week days for walks with your pup. I’ll be the perfect fit for anyone that works late into the evening. I already go on daily walks, so adding your dog in will be an easy addition to my routine.
