Dog care and support

Pet care experience

Hello! My name is Alexias (Lex works too) and I have the sweetest American Bulldog, Luna. Ive had Luna since she was born and we love outdoor activities and meeting new dogs/people (off leash). I am happy to open my home up to any dogs/pups in need of assistance, while you're off working or enjoying the free time! We all need it! I do like envovling my dog with others, but I understand sometimes dogs just dont get along. I would greatly appreciate it if we are able to have our dogs meet if we have to do any in house sitting or drop-offs. From there we can also discuss any concerns or anything about your baby that I would need to know about, while you would be away! Thank you for your time! Alexias Experience (listed newest to oldest): - Six months, I walked a one year old puggle (20 pounds) three days out of each week. Luna and him loved walking and going to the dog park to play fetch with the ball. We would do that 1 - 3 hours every day I walked him - Six months, I took care of two miniature poodles that were neglected, so they were skiddish. They were both females and around five years old. I bathed them often, cut their hair (especially around the eyes and mouth) and trimmed the toe nails. Along with the daily walks and love. I found a more suitable home then the last one for them. - I raised an Alaskan Malamute until he was 1 years old. (Fostered him for a new family) He weighed 90 pounds by the time he hit one. He was still growing. The breed is a very particular breed that requires lots of patience and time. I enjoyed every second training him to sit, stay, lay down, roll over, drop it, wait, come here and bow. I'm thrilled he found a great home! (All those commands, I teach my dogs that I have now, Luna knows a lot more) - For a year, every other weekend - I in-house dog sat a German Sheppard and a malamute, 5 and 8. Both well over 100lbs. This home was on a 10 acre lot, so they had plenty of space to run. Which worked out because I picked up all the poop in the yard for another service! ** I have grown up with cats all my life, rescued and taken care of them as well. So I don't want to scare off any cat owners! I work overnight 9pm to 8am. Sometimes I'll take on extra shifts and hours. Please refer to the calendar as I will try to keep it up to date as much as possible. My home is available to any dog or puppy, I goyten rid of my crate, so if you require that for your dog, please dont hesitate to bring it with. There is a few parks that I drive to for my dog to get her exercise. We also go on 30-60 minute walks. (Sometimes longer) message me for any other information, I am pretty flexible and understanding.

Alexias was great with our dogs! She sent us pictures and updates often and they were exhausted when we got home.

A typical day

When I get home from work, I make sure my Luna has eaten before we spend our time outdoors. Sometimes we will do off and on leash training, walk to the park to run free, go to a park with water to swim, or explore any other new location. I try to give her 1 - 4 hours of outside time, sometimes more. It all depends on what we are doing and the weather.
