I am originally from Sioux Falls and just moved back after just over 8.5 years in California. I grew up with a house full of cats and dogs. I moved to California in 2015 and have been house sitting and checking in on friends and coworkers pets since which includes cats, dogs and reptiles. This includes walking, bathing and feeding and the ages ranged from puppy to full grown. I also nannied for a neighbor during 2020 in lieu of her finding a boarder when she had to go back to working in office. I am super outdoorsy and have taken pets to the river or even kayaking. I grew up riding horses and helping around the farm. I love animals and any excuse to take care of them.

Alexia took great care of my two babies (Olde English Bulldogge, Oliver, and Chihuahua, Cleo) many times. I was always comfortable and confident that she was giving them everything they needed and lots and lots of love! She provided regular updates and sent lots of photos. I ended up moving out of state, and I miss being able to ask Alexia to take care of my babies. If you can book Alexia, you are lucky!!!

I like to know the dogs daily routine. What time do they eat? Do they go outside the same time every day or is it sporadic? Anything odd that may startle the dog that I should know about? What calms the dog when they are feeling stressed?
A typical day
The most enjoyable thing I find is to play with the dog in a park close to home or take them for a run/walk around the block. The more comfortable and safe they feel the more fun they can have.
