I have watched pets for several years, and have done overnight stays since I could drive. The dogs I watch enjoy a vast amount of cuddles, walks as needed, and more scratches and kisses than they could hope for. I am a college student, so other than classes and work my schedule is fairly flexible, as I can do homework with your furbaby as my helper. For years I was the go-to pet sitter for my neighbors and remain so for those who are still around. While most of my neighborhood dogs are fairly laid back, I have taken others on long walks to get their steps in, played fetch in the backyard, or taken them to the dog park (and of course gotten cute pictures of them playing with new friends for their parents!). For three and a half years in high school I was in a 4-H Vet Science program, which included shadowing at a vet during that time. I am not a certified vet tech due to qualifications changing right before I finished the program, however I have the same basic knowledge and experience as I would had I completed the course in its entirety. Because of this, I can give any form of medication (whether by mouth or needle), and am experienced in handling a vast variety of dogs and cats. My schedule varies from day-to-day, as I have two jobs outside of pet sitting in addition to hanging out with my family, playing with my own pups, and volunteering. Below is a rough estimate of when you could regularly expect me to be gone from your pups: SUMMER 2019 -Monday through Friday I lifeguard most mornings, from either 4:30am-noon or 8am-3pm -Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday evenings I work at my barn exercising horses, typically from about 4:30pm-9pm -Saturday mornings I volunteer at Heritage Farmstead Museum, however, with the heat I don't expect to stay out past noon -Sunday mornings from about 10am-11:45am I have in-service at the pool, and 1pm-? (sometimes 7, sometimes 9) I work at the barn feeding horses and teaching lessons. FALL 2019 -TBD
