Love yours like mine

Pet care experience

I am a volunteer at Five Acres animal shelter. I walk dogs and care for them there. I have in the past been an emergency foster to abandoned puppies and pregnant cats through the pregnancy and until puppies, kittens, and moms were ready for adoption. I was a dog Walker through WAG! for two years after my son was born until I started working again. I had reoccurring clients and enjoyed this flexible schedule. One of them had a special request to bring my bike while they were in physical therapy to bike with their pup around their neighborhood as that was what he was used to. I love to walk, run, play, and love your pups. I will always have a portable water bowl on our walks unless provided and clean it in between pup visits. Dependent on your dog’s diet, skin conditions, and your preference I do like to carry a treat bag filled with a variety of premium goodies and an all natural essential oil spray bug repellent to keep them happy and comfortable when necessary.

Safety, trust & environment

I follow directions and try to go above what is expected during my time with your loved one. I have a fenced yard and one fur baby(under 1 year old Aussie) who loves to play. I take pups on daily walks, trips, or spend time in the yard ready to play fetch with assortments of balls, frisbees, and rope. Our dog enjoys the sprinkler at times or the plastic kiddie pool. *we have a cat who does not mind dogs but is also able to stay in our finished basement comfortably during visits if necessary*

Information Alexandria R. would like to know about your pet

Any Triggers and Diet Restrictions including birds, squirrels, dog selective, kennel aggressive, bowl protective, sunglasses/hat/other clothing or gender wary, diabetic, grain-free, allergies, etc. **Also any alternate cue words I should know that you prefer/use to avoid directional confusion with your pup- go home, kennel, place, come, return, stay, freeze, sit, drop it, leave it

A typical day

Fetch, tug of war, I can bring treats, if permitted to go to a dog park I’d be happy to escort. (Our favorites right now are BROMELSLEIK PARK and QUAIL RIDGE) otherwise we love the standard trails at both parks as well.
