I grew up surrounded by animals, and quickly learned how to care for cats, dogs, fish, guinea pigs, turtles and even rats at one point! Over the past decade, I have become the go-to house sitter and dog walker for most of my friends and family. And now, I am grateful for Rover because of how many wonderful furry friends I have met! I also have experience with animals living with acute and chronic special needs, including: my own pup with dementia, an asthmatic cat, a kitten who required post-surgical physical therapy, saving a premature pup by administering subq fluids and OG feeds, and expressing bladder/bowel for a paraplegic pup. Finally, I want to add that I am a pediatric RN with a healthy intuition and natural compassion for all living beings -- on top of just missing the love and joy that animals provide.
