Pet care experience
I’ve taken care of pets ever since I was 8 years old. Growing up I walked our dogs and fed our cats. I love dogs but am partial to cats! I still have the same kitty from when I was 10 years old 😊. I worked at the San Diego Humane Society to foster animals for five years and have grown up with big dogs. A member of my family works with Guide Dogs for the Blind and I have assisted her in caring for training puppies! I’m usually available with advanced reservations and am flexible when it comes to scheduling. I have also spent a lot of time house sitting and watching other animals if need be! Communicate with me and we can find something that works for you and your pets!

Exceeded expectations. I think Alexandria took better care of my dog than I normally do. She sent pics and videos regularly and I am a 100% satisfied customer.
Alexandria was so sweet with my two cats. Gave great updates, pictures, AND cleaned the litter off my floor for me! I’d give 10 stars if I could and will totally be using her again.
My cat is scared of everyone except us, but he doesn't hide from Alexandria! What a relief for all of us! She goes the extra mile and is patient with pets as well as people. I would not hesitate to recommend her to others.

It’s good to know the energy level of your dog. Any anxieties or tendencies they may have that aren’t typical. It’s good to know their habits and quirks, as well as what makes them uncomfortable. If they need any medication or other special arrangements this needs to be communicated in advance.
A typical day
I don’t have a big backyard, but there is a pet friendly park near me as well as a large walking trail, which would be a perfect place for activities.

Availability
I work a full-time job that has a pet friendly environment. So if need be I can bring your pet to work. During the summer I have a consistent schedule, but I commute to work so I wouldn’t be able to do lunch time walks or drop ins at my home, only at places near my work (downtown PDX).
