Pet care experience
I've been taking care of pets For neighbors and friends since I was a kid. Walks, training, administering medicine in pill form or in a syringe tube for liquid medicine, putting on thunderstorm cozy jackets if your pup is scared, bathing and basic grooming (brushing, trimming hair), are all within my comfort zone. I play and walk and snuggle with your pets as if they were my own, honoring their unique personalities and quirks. I have a big heart for animals and I would love to help support you and your household.

If you need someone friendly, reliable, communicative, and trustworthy to watch your pup, Alexandria is all that and more! She took amazing care of our Great Dane over the holidays and we felt completely comfortable with her right away. She sent regular updates and photos, asked great questions, and was flexible with our shifting plans. She was also *extremely* patient with our ageing Dane and his quirky habits (including a sensitive stomach and leash reactivity around other dogs.) Added bonus: she was game to stay in our projects-in-progress house, which is FAR from perfectly clean and put-together due to remodeling! We so appreciated her positivity and care - she would absolutely be our go-to sitter again. Thank you!!

Alex has been our pet sitter on several occasions. Our Bernese, Barkley, absolutely fell in love with Alex Barkley requires meds twice a day He’s also a high maintenance cuddle dog! Alex took excellent care of all Barkley’s needs. I have a car that I am happy to use for taking your pup to the dog park, local or Sinks Canyon trails. Depending on my availability at the time, I am able to house sit for you as well, but generally best for me if I can stop by as needed. My friends and family in the area are also animal lovers so your pets will have lots of affection if you would like them to socialize.

I would like to know anything that makes your dog feel as safe and at ease as possible. I would like to know if they have any fear based aggression or trauma with other dogs. (I have experience with handling this, my mom's rescue pup, who has since passed, had some trauma.) If your dog is showing agression towards people, however, I will need to judge based on a few visits for my own comfort. I would like to know your dog's training level, if any, and whether you would like my help with that while you are away. Anything you feel you need me to know or would like me to keep in mind for them while you are away that will make them, and you, most at ease!
A typical day
I will take your dog on walks throughout your neighborhood, the local parks and trails, such as Sinks Canyon and the like. I will happily offer as many walks and adventures as you feel your doggo needs.

I work a couple jobs in town and will happily work pet sitting into my schedule. I will make sure I can commit to availabilty that works for you before we get started for the duration of the sit.
