Pet care experience
Hello! My name is Alexandra (Alex for short) and I would love to take care of your furry friends! In the past I have watched dogs in a variety of settings, fostering dogs in my home as a teenager and volunteering weekly with River's Wish Animal Sanctuary for over 6 years when living in my hometown! I am available weekly for dog walking and drop-in visits for your dog while you are away at work or gone for an overnight! I can also house and dog sit for longer periods of time as well as provide care for other pets in the household. When traveling I understand placing your dog in a kennel can cause you and your pet anxiety and I would like to provide the best care to relieve that for both of you! While a dog is in my care, I treat it as my own, being sure to let it out frequently, provide exercise daily and maintain the feeding schedule that it is accustomed to.

Alex is a very responsible and conscientious person. She has volunteered at our nonprofit for many years. She has great rapport with animals and is very compassionate. Alex is especially wonderful with the dogs at the sanctuary and her own little dog Murphy! We trust her completely!
My three dogs adore Alexandra and yelp with joy every time she comes over to care for them. I think this is because she is a natural around animals. Whether taking them out for a brisk walk, scratching that perfect spot behind the ears or snuggling together at the end of an evening, Alexandra is loved by them all. She has significant practical experience as well from her years of volunteering with several animal sanctuaries. Therefore I have always felt secure entrusting my precious dogs to Alexandra’s tender care when I am away.
