I used to be the head dog trainer at Petco. I was a dog trainer for 2 years and pet sitting for 15 years. I am good with all sorts of animals, dogs, cats, rodents, reptiles, fish, etc. I have owned many animals, including chickens. I will treat your house and your animals like they are my own, with love and respect. I am also comfortable with bathing and grooming needs, administering medication, and adhering to any special directions for your pet. Your dog will be comfortable, and no undo stress will be put upon them. We do a lot of playtimes, I give special, homemade treats (if allowed), and even do a little training session with them to keep their skills up. I have my own reliable transportation.

Alexandra was wonderful. She sent me videos and pictures of my dog (who stayed with her for a little more than a week). He was SO HAPPY with her. I've had others sit my dog, and at the end he's anxious to see me and is attached for the days after. My dog was happy to see me, but almost disinterested -- this was OK because it told me that he had a fantastic time while I was away! Additionally she worked very hard to keep him clean (he's white) which was over and beyond what I expected. Thank you so much, Alexandra. You're a great sitter and I appreciate your help. Alexandra watched my hyper border collie mix plenty of times. She was absolutely amazing with her! She really knows how to handle dogs and immediately had a connection with my borders collie. She EVEN celebrated her birthday with her. How cute!? I couldn't ask for a better for sitter. She is always polite and well mannered and I completely trust her with my pup! I highly suggest Alexandra for all your pet sitting needs!!
Alex is a professional dog trainer and has been house sitting pets for many years. She has watched my dogs, cats and even my pet rats. She has always been kind and caring toward my animals, showed up on time, and made sure they were well taken care of. The dogs love her and the cats don't hide from her (which is as good as it gets with cats). She is responsible and I've felt safe having her in my home. I recommend her heartily as a pet sitter.
