For most of my life I have grown up around pets. Throughout my childhood, I have had dogs and cats, and I have had my own dog, Rebel, for almost three years. I have a lot of experience with shy, timid dogs and I'd say that I do pretty well with them. My experience with my pets in my childhood include feeding my dog, Shasta, and my cats. I also took my dog, Shasta for many walks throughout my childhood. Most of my experience, however, comes from taking care of my current dog, Rebel, who is my best friend, and from my current job at a dog daycare. I adopted her February of 2021 and have had to administer meds to her for multiple medical problems she has had, and I have the responsibility of making sure she is happy and healthy. I have learned so much through the experience of having an adopted dog and have had to have a lot of patience with her, especially with her timid nature, but its rewarding to see her progress. Also, I have worked at a dog daycare for over a 2 years. I have experience taking care of dogs in boarding including administering meds, feeding dogs, giving nail trims and baths, taking the dogs outside outside go potty, and taking them for walks.
