Welcome to my profile! 🐈🐈⬛🐈 I’m currently booking house sitting and drop ins for cat parents exclusively. I have a special love for senior cats and am comfortable administering medications if need be. I'm a former full-time dog walker/pet sitter returning to the pet care community after completing a Master’s in Social Work here in the city. As a longtime humane society volunteer, sheltering employee, and foster mom, I have a great deal of experience working with animals of all temperaments, ages, and sizes (and love them all!). A year+ of full time pet care has prepared me to work with shy pets, high energy pets, and all pets in between. I am comfortable administering medication and caring for animals with special needs. I'm happy to tailor my visits to ensure you and your pet(s) get the most out of our time together - extended walks or drop ins, runs with more active pups, baths, etc. I'm happy to answer any questions you have about me or my approach to pet care. Our second time this year hiring Alexandra for her services! Once again, Alexandra took incredible care of our senior cat and our home. This time around, I booked Alexandra literally the moment after I booked my flights. There was no question that we wanted her kind services again. Alexandra took wonderful care of our boy and home, treating him just how we'd treat him and giving him all of the affection and attention he needs. As he has a chronic illness and is extremely social, he needs lots of attention and care! Alexandra of course gave him all of that, and gave us all the communication we needed. When we arrived home he was in wonderful spirits and health as he'd had great company in our absence. Thank you so much, Alexandra! Alex is not only an excellent caregiver, but a great person too! We enjoyed getting to know her before our trip, as she took the time to meet with us and our dog. Our protective herding dog was comfortable with her right away and was clearly happy with her for an extended period of time, She went above and beyond in taking care of our dog and home.
Alex is amazing! She’s incredibly communicative, sends great photos, and did a GREAT job with my cats while I was out of town
