Pet care experience
I love animals, and absolutely love meeting new pets and getting to know their personalities. I currently don’t have a pet, so I enjoy dog sitting and being able to fawn over a real animal and not just the cute videos I find on social media. I have 2.5 years of experience working at a doggy day care facility, so I know the ins and outs of pet care and keeping pups happy and healthy. I know how to treat upset stomachs, administer non-injectable medications (pills, wipes, eyedrops, etc.), and recognize body language and changes in behavior. I have experience with dog sitting, both house visits and overnight stays, and I have worked with dogs of varying breeds and ages. I'm flexible, good at following instructions, and can tailor my care toward the specific needs of your dog. I am available weekdays and weekends, and although I prefer knowing a week in advance, I can do short notice.

This the second time we've had Alex houseslt for us and take care of our dog, Jasmine. Again, she did an excellent job! She is very thorough and reliable, confirming when she arrived and texting us a picture of Jasmine. She did an excellent job caring for Jasmine and now, she is Jasmine's friend. Jazz gets very excited when she arrives. We highly recommend Alex for house-sitting and pet care!

Alexandra did a FANTASTIC job caring for our dog while we were on vacation! She was super reliable and responsible-- following our instructions and doing fun things with our dog each day. Excellent communication with us while we were away-- texting us updated and pictures of our happy dog. Our dog, Jazzy, clearly had a good time and liked Alexandra a lot. We will hire her again!

A typical day
I like to cater daily activities to the dog -- lots of play for high energy pups, and extra couch cuddles for the older pups. I’ve played with dogs who love classic fetch, and others who like to play soccer, so whatever style of play your dog loves, we can do.
