Pet care experience
In the past, I have taken care of 3 cats--2 indoor cats and one that roamed outdoors--and MANY dogs. I currently foster with Secondhand Hounds (but I do not foster while boarding other animals) and I love having animals over. I grew up with dogs, watched friends' and family members' pets while they are on vacation, and I just love having animals in my home. I am a law students and spend a lot of time at home and will be at home all day this coming summer studying for the bar. Watching a dog and having a pal to go on walks with sounds great to me!

Extremely happy with Buster’s stay! It’s obvious Alexandra loves dogs and has experience with all types. She interacts with Buster in a very calm manner and he responds well to that. She was also so flexible with timing when our flight was delayed. Would absolutely use her again. I think Buster would agree!

I have a fenced yard and, if outside and not in the backyard, always keep a dog on a leash. Otherwise, my home is pretty cat and dog friendly (no cleaning supplies out or breakables) because I do foster with Secondhand Hounds occassionally.

If the dog is on any medication or reacts to certain triggers poorly, these are things I like to know in advance so that your pet is not anxious with me and I can care for them as best as possible.
A typical day
If the dogs like it, I love going to the dog park in St. Paul. Otherwise, I usually take dogs walking in my neighborhood up to Grand Ave, the college campuses, or around Summit. I usually have a fanny pack of treats and love practicing sit and stay with dogs (and usually have a tennis ball if they are into fetch).

Availability
As stated above, I am a law student so most of my day is spent at home studying. Having a dog around to go on morning and afternoon walks with is always a plus for me!
