Pet care experience
I’ve had dogs and cats all my life growing up and took care of dogs of neighbors, friends, family for years. My friends and I board each other’s dogs from time to time, especially in their most vulnerable states (post-surgery, medical conditions, anxiety) because we trust each to treat the other’s pet like our own. I will carry that mentally with every pet I take care of. Expect lots of of treats, pets, cuddles, play time, and walks every day!

Alexandra is lovely and she took excellent care of my pup.
Alexandra is one of the most caring individuals for all animals. Alexandra has a wonderful dog that has the sweetest demeanors and plays well with all other dogs. Alex has watched my cat when I have went out of town and she makes give my cat all the love and care she needs during her visits. I would highly recommend Alex as a caretaker for all animals.
Alex is my older sister and we've grown up with dogs since the age of 4. Her love for dogs (and all animals) shows through endless cuddles and scratches, in addition to playtime and walks outside (or visits to the dog park). She's looked after my cat Freddy countless times and her dog Sage is the best with all kinds of pets - and even children love her dog Sage. Highly recommend if your looking for pet care with enough space to run around, as well as access to a backyard.

I have a 4 year old rescue who is the sweetest dog you’ll ever meet and loves to be with other dogs of all ages and sizes! I have a fenced yard about 25 by 30 feet that’s almost all grass. I also have an indoor security camera downstairs to check in on the pets frequently and communicate with them through the speaker! I do not have a crate, but can easily crate pups for the few hours I’m not home each day. Dogs are allowed upstairs and in my bedroom to sleep on the carpeted floor if they’d like.

Dogs I take care of must be house broken and trained to not go on furniture like a bed or couch. Dogs who are younger or more high energy are preferred to be crate trained. We have a two story house that borders a busier street but does have a completely fenced in yard.
A typical day
I provide daily walks and playing in the backyard with my dog Sage, either with toys or play fetch. I also will take them to the dog park at least 1-2 times per week

Availability
I work from home Monday-Friday for the whole day until 3pm. I am able to give frequent potty breaks and lot of attention during this time. I work out of the house in the afternoons and some evenings. When I return home from work, I take my dog for a long walk in the neighborhood.
