Pet care experience
Hi! I’m about to start medical school and am in need of funds to help pay for my fur babies! I love being around and taking care of dogs and cats of all sizes. I have two energetic tabby cats and grew up taking care of a large dog. I have experience pet sitting dogs while their pet parents are on vacation. Before starting medical school, I was a manger at a dog pack walking company where I walked up to 8 dogs on my own. I’m comfortable transporting animals in case of an emergency and picking up medication if need be. When I take care of a pet, I love to play with them and make sure that they have active play time. I am especially gentle with cats and understand that they can take time to warm up to people. I understand that all pets have different needs and I always take this into consideration when caring for a pet. I have experience taking care of chickens, quail, ducks and sugar gliders too!

I booked Alexandra for my 4 day vacation. I booked her previously and she was did the job fairly well. This time around was a completely different story. She was constantly late. She messaged me at 1am said she can no longer take care of my animals due to personal issues. Needless to say, I had to figure out how plan B for care for 2 more days. Very irresponsible behavior. I will NEVER use her again.
I didn’t feel stressed about leaving my babies! Alexandra assured me everything was great! When I got home, my babies were happy as can be.

I am always cautious when I open the door to make sure they don’t run out. I’m more than happy to take my shoes off when entering the home and I thoroughly follow instructions when it comes to taking care of house keys. During drop ins, I am respectful of cats who want their space.

I'd like to know how a dog reacts to other animals on walks. I like to know if a cat typically likes to run out of the door when entering the home. It’s also helpful for me to know if a cat likes to hide or is friendly with people.
A typical day
I commonly play fetch or tug-of-war with dogs. I love playing with different cat toys and hiding treats for kitties. During drop ins, I check/change water levels, feed animals and clean the litter box.

Availability
I can take care of pets before 8 am and after 4 pm during weekdays. I’m more flexible on weekends when it comes to drop in times.
