I have extensive experience with all sorts of pets. I don't have any of my own so that I can take care of other people's pets. I specifically love big dogs and older cats, but am open to any animals over 2 years old. I am home most of the time to make sure your pet receives attention. While I am attentive, I do need the pets to have downtime so I can work. I am good at following detailed instructions and prefer to have them in writing! Please let me know your pet's schedule and what they are used to. Since I have neighbors below me, barking is not allowed in the house. My house is right next to the vet in case anything happens. My neighborhood is great for walks of varying lengths. I do not have any kids in case that is helpful to know. I prefer to book clients 1 day to 2 months in advance. Share the purpose of your trip and something about you and the pets. For stays of longer than 24 hours: Low to medium energy pets only. I am not able to host clingy or high energy pets. I am not able to host pets that require being in the same room as me all the time or ones that will follow me around. For stays of less than 24 hours: I can handle pets with anxiety or are clingy. If the short stay goes well, we can discuss future boarding for longer periods of time.
