Pet care experience
Hi! I love being outdoors, going on walks and adventures and solving mysteries (with doggies). Besides biking, dog walking it is one of my favorite pastimes and recreational sports. It has been a great experience to learn more about animals by taking care of other people's pets. I first started pet-sitting for my neighbors and later used Rover to connect with other families who needed some extra help from time to time. I regularly watched other dogs for a few days at a time while in college and on semester breaks. More recently, I boarded other dogs and stayed at the client's house for a week while they were away. I have experience with sensitive, older dogs as well as shelter dogs. I am an excellent watchdog/caretaker and look forward to getting to know you and your dog (or cat!)

Alex did a great job dog sitting for us, she sent pictures throughout the night and was very communicative. She came a few hours earlier and stayed a little later which was very much appreciated. We would definitely use her again in the future!

We have used Alex multiple times and had her stay over with our dog for multiple days. She took excellent care of Sadie. She is extremely trustworthy and capable. Alex has also helped us out on short notice if she was free and we will miss her as she has moved to a new location in Astoria.
Alexandra is an excellent pet sitter. My normally nervous cat warmed right up to her and she took superb care of him during the three days I was away. From our initial conversation to her check-ins Alexandra was engaged and interested in the details of his care. She’s reliable, kind and I will definitely be utilizing her pet sitting services again! Availability
I'm currently pet sitting and studying (from home) and will be starting grad school in the fall. I should be around and available all summer and most likely in the fall.
