I have been on Rover since February 2022 and have had over 70 happy, tail-waggin' clients :)! In college, I worked closely volunteering with the community animal shelter, and eventually grew to start fostering. I found such a deep passion for fostering and was able to raise and care for several puppies. I have cared for 2, 6-10 week puppies and seen them through spay/neuter surgeries. I also was entrusted to pick up my father's puppy, and raise him for the first 6 weeks until my dad could pick him up. I have worked to potty train, crate train, and behavior train all of these pets. I am not financially in a place to raise my own animal, so I love getting to care for other's pets and share my love with them. I have extensive breed experience with dachshunds! I work in social media and love taking pictures! I will be sure to take & send lots of pics to you:) Currently, I work from home full time at a very flexible start-up, and live an active lifestyle free to exercise your pet! My apartment is located on right off of the rail trail with easy access for plenty of walks! I plan to care for pets in both my own home &/or my client's home based on their requests. If the pet has tendencies to escape, I don't open the front door unless the pet is on a leash or in their crate. I love to spend time playing and keeping the pets active. If in a client's home, I plan to abide by their rules in regards to the pet's allowance on furniture/in specific areas of the house. I plan to keep the floor of my own apartment clean, and living alone it is easy to manage my space and keep it in the best shape for pet care.
