Pet care experience
I have had all kinds of dogs throughout my life, and recently just rescued a 2 year old golden retriever. I am skilled with taking care of dogs of all ages, am comfortable with different types of harnesses, collars, leashes, etc. I have trained many puppies and older dogs (labs, German shepherds, Pomeranian, husky). I am a Surgical Technician who the last few years has been helping deliver babies. I am taking a break from bedside and decided to focus on taking care of my new rescue and helping other families with their dog care needs.

Alexandra is the most kind and loving caretaker for our dog. She is so attentive to detail and keeps Kaia in her routine. Alex also always makes sure to keep us posted with pics and videos of Kaia every time she’s dog-sitting, which is so reassuring as a first-time dog momma! I highly recommend her for your walking/sitting needs!
Alexandra has baby sat and walked my dogs for almost 5 years. She's very reliable, caring, and takes great care of my dogs when we are away. She is very trustworthy, and our dogs love her. She's a great candidate for a dog caregiver and we highly recommend her!
I have a dog of my own and Alexandra comes over to let her out all the time for me! She is a responsible, upstanding woman who is enthusiastic about dogs. She is the perfect person to trust your dog with because she is caring and sensitive to dogs' needs as well as adept in basic dog training.
I’ve known Alexandra for the last two years now, and I have never met someone who is as attentive, loving and caring towards dogs. She has a way with them like I’ve never seen. My Australian Shepard Royce loves when she comes to visit, pretty sure he enjoys her company more than me. She is kind to him yet doesn’t let him get out of line. I wouldn’t know a better person fit for this job.

I have a fenced yard if you need me to take the pup. I do have Nala, who is a 2 year old rescue but is the sweetest dog. She came well trained and is friendly with other dogs, animals and people. Please let me know of any special needs prior to booking.

A typical day
I love walking the beach or hitting a dog park depending on your comfort level with off leash parks. I walk around my neighborhood and with a socialized dog, love going to Pacific Beach to walk the boardwalk. I’m willing to do whatever your pup loves!

Availability
I have a pretty open schedule so please let me know how I can help! I can accommodate same day bookings. I take my dog, Nala, everywhere with me. We hike, run, walk, go to dog parks and beaches, play in the park. I am happy to bring her along to care for your pet, or leave her at home during that time. She’s great with all animals (even cats) and kids. She is great on and off the leash at parks and would be a great friend to your dog. I can accommodate high/low activity pets and follow whatever amount of exercise they are used to and need. I’m very active so can include your pup in the exercise.
