Hi there! My name is Alex and i was a pro dog walker from Washington dc and i would really enjoy taking care of your dog! i walked dogs professionally for about a year and a half before i moved away, but now i am back in the DC area. I have been certified for Pet Care and and First aid. I love all breeds of dogs, small to big, and have a soft spot for pitbulls and huskies. I have my own pup which is a chihuahua/yorkie mix and she is 5 years old this year. She is my baby girl! About this sitter: I will play and take care of your dog while you are away! So please pick me, you and your dog will have a friend for life!

Alex took care of our two pets for us while we were on vacation, and she did a wonderful job! She made sure to send us daily pictures, but also some videos. She even added a note on our whiteboard that were out of treats for them :) She also set up some time to meet us and our kiddos beforehand, which was great for both of us. Definitely recommended!
Alex is a terrific dog walker who goes above and beyond her responsibilities with my pet. I have a very fearful and anxious dog and Alex worked patiently to gain her trust. When it was thundering hard outside, she would hold my pet to reassure and calm her. Finally, when there was an emergency event in my neighborhood, Alex acted calmly and quickly and sought shelter in order to protect herself and my dog. She leaves detailed notes telling about anything unusual that has occured and responds promptly to communications. I can't recommend her enough.
Alex has loved dogs all her life, even as a child of three. She grew up to become a devoted fan of dogs and has owned two as a single person living and working in Washington, DC. Walking dogs has been her day job for the past several years, and her client base is sorry to see her leave town.

My dogs ranged from pint sized loud barkers to 120 lb champion show dogs. all different personalities. :) I would like to know how your dog is with small animals (squirrels, rats, smaller breeds etc.) If she or he is aggressive towards other dogs or any humans. what are their food eating habits, their treats, medications, and so forth.
A typical day
My style is me and the dog walking or at the park being one on one with them. I always get compliments on my clients dogs "your dog is beautiful!" and I say thank you because the dog I am caring for is beautiful!
