Hello! My name is Alex and I am currently a Masters in Athletic Training professional who is returning to school for their Doctorate in Physical Therapy with Baylor University. :) I have had animals my entire life (English Springer Spaniels, Pitbulls, Shitzus, Cats, and Horses). They fill my day with so much joy and happiness. Currently, I have had my own travel companion, Donatello, who has turned 10 this past year. He has seen the country with me for school and relocating for work. My fondest memory is when I trained and ran a 10k with our family dog, Ollie, (Springer Spaniel) and it is my dream to see if I can run a half marathon with my puppy one day. :) Some Facts about me: I am a current health care professional and avid runner. I am currently training for a marathon, chasing the dream to qualify for the Boston Marathon. While growing up, I had to take on a "adult" role in my family and have trained many family dogs and additionally take them in when members of my family felt that they could no longer do so. So I am very comfortable with all sizes and mannerisms of cats and dogs. Cats and Dogs are the purest of souls that have so much love to give.

Alex is super friendly, communicated well, and took my pup for a run - which judging from the pictures, looks like he loved. Hired again the following week.
Alexandra might be Finns new best friend. He has soooo much fun on his walks with her and she wears him out which I am so grateful for! Cannot recommend enough!

Alexandra always did an amazing job taking care of my cat Go Go Boots when I had to go out of town. As a long time pet owner herself she is diligent and trustworthy and always good for selfie updates of your fur baby if you need them. Would definitely recommend!!!

I will treat your pet as my own and make sure that they are comfortable, safe, and happy. I am your girl if your pet just needs to be fed, needs a little company, a walk, a run, or even someone to watch them for a few days time.

Mannerisms, dos and don'ts, what they like or don't like, what activities you would like me to do or avoid with them is extremely appreciated.
A typical day
I love to spoil animals with love and stimulation in whatever form they need. For dogs, I would love to take them on walks or even small hikes around the Portland area, if allowed. I frequent Lacamas Lake area and the water front in Vancouver but also love forest park area. If they rather stay inside or are recovering from injuries, I will be more than happy to give them some pets and visits. For cats, they need pets and play time just as much as dogs do. My cat loves laser pointers and ribbons himself.

Availability
Since I am returning to school through a Hybrid program, I will be at home through out the day for my studies and online sessions. This makes it extremely easy for me to head to pets homes and take them on walks, runs, or give them some extra love while their owners are busy at work or taking a much needed vacation. I would love to build a relationship with you and your furr baby so that they have someone dependable and consistent taking care of them whenever you need a helping hand.
