I've had dogs my whole life and love them and being around them! I've taken my dogs to various levels of dog training classes, including puppy, adult, and Canine Good Citizen courses. I've had large and medium-sized dogs mostly (Samoyed, Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever, Bernese Mountain Dog, and currently, a Whippet mix) and am very comfortable around all breeds of dogs. I make sure that my dogs sit at every corner and try to discourage pulling on the leash, creating an enjoyable walking experience for all. I use hand gesture-based commands as well as verbal commands to make sure the dog follows my lead. I believe that if a dog is well trained it makes the best companion. A well-exercised dog is a happy dog!
