Pet care experience
I've walked and taken care of dogs for family, friends, and neighbors since childhood, and I now have several years of experience sitting and walking on Rover. I've taken care of younger and elderly dogs as well as a range of sizes. I am kind, patient, and gentle with all dogs. I will wear an N95 mask in your home, test regularly for COVID, and am fully vaccinated with updated boosters. I will be very communicative and meet your needs when it comes to scheduling: I am extremely flexible.

I have access to many nearby parks that are dog-friendly and know of many places in the area with safe, wide open spaces. I do not have a pet at the moment so there will be no negative interactions. When I'm walking, I like to avoid others dogs and people to help keep your pet calm. I will never let your pet off leash in an unenclosed area and always keep an eye out for unleashed dogs.

I would like to know if your dog is reactive and has strong reactions to certain people, sounds, or other animals. I am not highly experienced in dealing with highly reactive dogs, and would prefer to keep everyone and myself safe. If your dog is food motivated or has a favorite toy that they love, that's super helpful to know! I have no breed preferences. As long as your dog is used to people and is generally agreeable, we will get along great!
A typical day
I can walk neighborhood streets or, with permission, introduce your dog to some of my favorite green spaces and parks nearby. We can walk leisurely, take a light jog, explore a park, and play with some toys. Whether your dog needs light exercise or tiring play-time, I can meet their needs.

Availability
For summer 2024, I will be available most weekdays in the morning and afternoon/evening as well as weekends. I can work a very flexible schedule and most often don't mind last-minute bookings or cancellations.
