Hello, my name is Alex and I am a stay home mom of a 11 year old boy and a 5 year old girl which allows me to pet sit during days and nights. I'm vegan and express my love for animals through my diet and lifestyle. I grew up around dogs, mostly big breeds such as Sheep Dogs, Afghan Hounds and German Shepherds but also Yorkies, Irish Setters and cocker spaniels. I am available to pet sit cats and exotic animals, as I have lots of experience with reptiles. We live right by the Big Apple in Wrentham, in a very rural neighborhood and lots of fenced in space to run and play. I enjoy nature and being outside with my family and our animals. Your dog will always have a great stay with us, no matter if just for a weekend or a month, we'll make sure to keep his/her paws safe and happy. :) I’d love to invite you and your dog for a meet & greet prior to your dog's stay with us. It’s the first step and allows me to learn about your family and gives you the opportunity to ask any questions you might have ahead of time. It’s best for your pup‘s comfort to get to know the home and people before the actual stay of course. About this sitter: I am available to pet sit during days and nights. And make new friends :) Why I love dog sitting Since I was born I had dogs growing up. Yen, a German Shepherd, Athan, a majestic Afghan, Alpha and Chica, both Polish Sheep Dogs. At age 20, I got Neptune (Justin), my beautiful Irish Setter puppy, who passed away at age 14. I miss him every day and know he watches me from doggy heaven. My parents have a Yorkie named Hugo, a crazy little guy with tons of personality!! I LOVE all dogs and their different traits, sizes and personalities. I am fully background checked and fingerprinted due to being an early childhood educator. In addition i am of course also background checked by ROVER. The yard Has trees, shrubs and lots of squirrels and chipmunks to chase :) My experience administering medication: We're comfortable with both oral and injectable medications. I have experience administering subcutaneous and intramuscular meds to pets and humans. How much time do you plan on spending with my dog each day? We go by YOUR Dog’s routine If you have a backyard, please describe it. We have a very large yard, fenced in of course Where will my dog sleep? If your dog has a doggy bed, please bring it with you, if not, we'll either use ours or a blankie to sleep on. We usually put the bed in our living room during the day for lounging, but move it into the bedroom for the night or adhere to any of your instructions. If your pooch loves the warmth and snuggles of a REAL bed, we even let them sleep with us :)
