Pet care experience
I have raised and trained my own German Shepherd puppy while also being a full-time college student. Otis was fully potty trained at 12 weeks and is the happiest bundle of joy! He has learned to walk without a leash, responds very well to commands, and is always walking around with a big smile! I believe this illustrates the respect dogs have for me as a caregiver, which makes me an excellent sitter, walker, boarder for your pet! He also gets along great with all dogs, no matter the size! I have raised and trained smaller breed dogs throughout high-school for my neighbors. Additionally, I have also cared for my parents Rottweiler who is 145+lbs, so I have extensive experience with large dogs that require additional care and training. I can handle dogs of any size, age, and aggression level. I love dogs and enjoy playing, walking, and simply spending time with them!

My home is fully dog proof since we have our own dog who we let freely roam the home when we are not home. We have baby locks on all cabinets where cleaning chemicals are stored and a gate to prevent access to the upstairs. We have a small enclosed patio that we allow our dog to go out with our supervision. Additionally, we have cameras installed inside in areas we allow our dog that are accessible via an app on our phone, so when we are not home we can keep an eye on him.

No breed preferences or prior dog training necessary! I just ask for a heads up on any important behavioral tendencies or dog specific needs so that I can best care for them. We do not accept dogs who are not house-trained (i.e. "potty trained"). There is an additional $15/day charge if your dog is with us and ends up going to the bathroom in our home. Additionally, there is an additional $75 charge/per item if your dog goes to the bathroom on upholstery. Lastly, pet owners are liable in full for the amount of any damage to furniture or fixtures that need to be replaced.
A typical day
I wake up and take my dog (or dogs if I am caring for someone elses dog) for a 30-ish minute walk with my boyfriend. We come back and feed him, then get to working from home. We usually take a long lunch break and another long walk with our dog(s). After work, we usually head over to the dog park for about an hour for play time. We then come home and make dinner, have play time, and relax. Throughout the day we take like to take work breaks and play with the dog toys. On walks we like to walk to the Starbucks, which usually ends with a pup-a-chino for the happy dogs. We don't have a specific walking route, but our dog(s) love going to the nearby park. We always make sure to carry a tennis ball in case we find an enclosed space for catch. By the end of the day, our pups are always tired and usually go to bed before us.

Availability
I work from home 3 days a week, and days I am in the office I have an extended lunch break to care for pets. Under my care, pets left at home/in a crate will not go longer than 3 hours without being attended to.
