Dogs/Cats are the way to my heart!
Pet care experience
I've grown up with dogs and have always had a dog. I am used to bathing, walking, running, hanging out with the dog. Playing catch after a long day always is my favorite. Comfortable with driving in car with dog and taking to parks. Always keep an eye out on the dog whenever at a dog park and my surroundings. I have taken care of dogs with specific food needs easily and understand the importance. Taken care of neighbors, my boss, and family members dogs since I was 15. About two years ago I was introduced and started to house sit and care for cats. It’s been educating and brought happiness/love into my life learning how to care for cats. It would be great to have a routine added in my daily lifestyle involving dog&cat sitting/walking. I have a very quiet lifestyle and apartment. I volunteer for SavingOneLife with cats. I love to play, snuggle, give scratches or even give space if that’s all they need for your dog or cat.

Alexandria is the best sitter! She was able to squeeze us in last minute during a family emergency and watched our fur babies and went above and beyond with taking care of them. She was so kind and thoughtful. They had long walks, we were regularly updated with pictures and videos, and she even cleaned up everything in our home before she left. Highly recommend her for your pet needs.

I can easily crate dog/cat if needed. Plenty of space in my apartment. Live on the second floor. Can carry dog/cat if needed. I have 8+ years experienced crate trained. If not crate trained, very alert to keep eye out especially taking dog out immediately when needed. I always will make sure the dog/cat is comfortable before leaving or in any time of day. Understanding the behaviors of the dog and cat I have cared for is very important to me, and my own behavior(excitement,slow approach,patience) when around them to make sure they feel at ease. This is my immediate goal when first introduced.

Let me know if there is anything that bothers the dog on walks or in general. Anything that would bother the cat or stay away from. Any food requirements. Anything necessary to give the best care for the dog/cat. If shown I will care for administering injections if needed.
A typical day
I love to go on runs and walks around my neighborhood. I’ll run around the neighborhood, making sure to keep the dog hydrated and breaks when needed. I would run without headphones for awareness around me and dog. I drive as if I have my own baby in the car when caring for the dog/cat. I love exploring different neighborhoods to walk around. If there are activities the dog/cat love, I am more than happy to learn and make sure they experience it like they would in their own home. Great at throwing toys and playing tug a war. Cats can love a wide variety of entertainment and it’s always enjoyable to do while laying around, after coming home from work, before work. I love attention from pets, if they love it I have the energy!! Make sure their food is well prepped, litter box cleaned, pick poop up. Making sure my day adapts to their level of comfort.

I have a flexible work schedule now where I am available 7 days a week and will be working from home. Live right by a grassy patch. Lovely neighborhood to walk in.
