Our pets are family. The way I work is first and foremost with love & respect for you and your fur baby. I have over 15 years of experience working with dogs, cats, birds, and even snakes! I'm a professional Filmmaker and Editor - my husband and I own a tiny indie production company out of our home which allows me to work freelance and often working remotely. My schedule is always super flexible which allows me the time with my other passion- Animals, yay! I specialize in owner & pet communication, animals with special disabilities, elder care, medication distribution, puppy training, and kitty cuddling. Whether it's a drop-in or an overnight stay you can expect a whole lot of LOVE, long walks or hikes, chill purring moments, PLAY, humor, communication, honesty, and did I say love?? I'd love to meet you and your pet!

Alexandra is terrific! From the first meet and greet we knew she was a good fit for us and our dog Crosby. She asked lots of great questions that let us know she is highly knowledgeable about dogs. While away she took great care of our home and Crosby. She provided regular updates and photos which we loved. We are so glad to have someone that we can count on and trust!
I have senior pup who does pretty well but she needs special attention and Alex was great with her and with my spunky six year old poodle mix. She made me feel at ease while I was out of the country on vacation. She sent me texts, pics and videos. It's never easy leaving my fur babies but I would totally use her again and would recommend Alex to my friends.

Please let me know if you are struggling with any behavior issues whether your pet is afraid/hiding, or more aggressive styles like biting and attacking. This is NOT a deal breaker I work with ALL pets but it's good for me (and you & your pet) for me to come into the situation fully prepared of the situation:)
A typical day
Depends on what pet I am hanging with that day. If I am with a pup that is active, I love going on long walks and/or hikes - a great way to bond and keep your pet happy & moving. If the pup is an elder or has special needs I like to wait for them to tell me what they are comfortable with and make sure not to push their boundaries. It's all a spectrum and different levels of care so it's hard to answer as I like to work with each animal in an individualized way. But, I like to go slow and take it easy even if it means cuddling in the sun if a lil pup isn't mobile. CATS! I have two crazy kits at home and I love playing with them whether it's their laser beam, ribbons or even taking them for walks - yes we trained our cats to go for walks! I also love to sit and have calm moments with all animals but especially cats as they are of a different vibe.

I'm super flexible, usually remote and if not I create my own schedule usually so I have plenty of time to plan my visits with you and your fur baby.
